I am wondering how WHFoods goes about getting the information (for say: beets or strawberries; produce) that is posted on the website (who finds it, the sources that back it, etc.)?

The information on our website comes from review of numerous scientific studies on the individual foods conducted by our in-house Ph.D. Our nutritional analysis of the foods comes from ESHA Research, a reliable and reputable company that specializes in nutrient research. From the ESHA database we try to select information that was derived from the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture)http://www.ndb.nal.usda.gov/"
