What are your thoughts on juicing vegetables like broccoli etc. with say apples and carrots as a means of getting good nutrients into a person.

Juicing fruits and vegetables removes the skin and pulp, which contain many important nutrients, including fiber that contributes to the many health benefits of these plant foods. While we believe juicing can have a routine place in a healthy meal plan, we strongly encourage you to stick with whole foods as your top priority when deciding what to eat, and not let juicing take over too much of your intake of fresh vegetables and fruits in their whole, solid form. The protective benefits of eating the whole food will be greater than juicing these foods. Blending a variety of vegetables and fruits in a smoothie is a convenient way to improve your nutrient intake; also, the food is easy to digest and nutrients readily accessible for absorption.
