The World's Healthiest Foods - Celebrating Our 10 Year Anniversary!

So much has happened over the past decade. In 2001, we ended our first year after launching the website with 5,000 unique visitors. Ten years later we are so proud that we have been privileged to share our valuable insights about the Healthiest Way of Eating and Cooking with an annual readership of over 12 million. Our goal at has been to provide more than just information; we have dedicated ourselves to sharing practical ways to easily incorporate the Healthiest Way of Eating and Cooking into your everyday life and help you take charge of your own health. And from the feedback we have received I believe we are achieving this goal.

Readers tell us of how they have lowered their blood pressure and cholesterol levels, increased their energy and vitality levels, and much more. And it was an unexpected surprise when we began receiving successful weight loss stories of Readers losing up to 75 pounds that were the result of Readers changing to a Healthier Way of Eating. 10 Years of Accomplishments

We have accomplished much in the past 10 years. While it's difficult to recount all of our activities, here are just some of the highlights for which we are proud:

2001 Development of the website, which had 400 unique visitors the first month and 5,000 for the year. Today, we have become one of the most popular websites on the Healthiest Way of Eating and Cooking with over 1 million visitors each month and 12 million each year.

2004 Launched our Weekly Newsletter (and later our Daily Tips and Recipes) which now reaches over 70,000 Readers.

2005 "Breakthrough News" announcements, which have evolved to focusing on the latest news about the World's Healthiest Foods.

2006 Publication of the best-selling book, The World's Healthiest Foods: Essential Guide for the Healthiest Way of Eating, an 880-page compendium of practical information about the World's Healthiest Foods, which has become a phenomenal success and has been awarded with great recognition and won several awards:

2007 The World's Healthiest Foods book wins the National Best Book Award

2007 The World's Healthiest Foods book is announced as a Finalist for the Nautilus Book Award

2009 The World's Healthiest Foods wins the Joseph Strossmeyer Award (Croatia) in the category of natural sciences

2007 The website is further acknowledged as a go-to resource for healthy eating and begins commanding the #1 spot on Google searches for "Healthiest Foods" and "Healthiest Recipes." (This is a natural evolution as the has never been involved with active search engine optimization efforts.)

2008 Published 300 Secrets, our first e-book, which includes hundreds of Q+As about a variety of topics related to the World's Healthiest Foods and the Healthiest Way of Eating and Cooking.

2008 Developed the Healthiest Way of Eating Plan, featured on the website, to help Readers incorporate the World's Healthiest Foods into their lifestyle using our quick-and-easy cooking methods and delicious recipes.

2009 Published the Healthy Weight Loss - Without Dieting e-book, which has helped many of our Readers reach their weight loss goals by not following a diet but by implementing a lifestyle change to become slimmer and healthier through healthy eating.

2009 The World's Healthiest Foods book is translated into Croatian.

2009 Sent a 17-page Open Letter to President Obama containing suggestions on how to solve the health crisis in the United States through healthy eating and cooking; research continues to find that these two factors play a primary role in the prevention of chronic disease in the U.S. We received a personal response from the President not only thanking us for our suggestions but acknowledging that they would be taken under consideration.

2010 Launched our first DVD, the Healthiest Way of Cooking. The video features George teaching viewers how to cook delicious recipes made from the World's Healthiest Foods in a healthful way.

Looking To the Future

This time of celebration is not only to look back on our past accomplishments but to look forward to how we can share with you the new frontiers of healthy eating and cooking, provide increasingly better and more practical ways that you can take charge of your own health, and help you make smart choices for you and your family.

In 2011, we will increase our focus on teaching you about the Healthiest Way of Cooking (especially vegetables) to help make them taste great and more enjoyable. Including more vegetables as part of the Healthiest Way of Eating can help improve your health, enhance your energy levels and memory, prevent colds and flu, improve your skin, enhance the way you look and feel, reduce your risk of heart disease, and help maintain you an optimum weight.

Over the past 10 years we have discovered that many people who want to eat healthier often just don't know how to begin, especially when it comes to cooking great tasting vegetables. So we are planning to offer easy access to our quick cooking methods and recipes that can be prepared in a matter of minutes as we feel that these will help motivate you to prepare more meals in your own home. We think that this is important because research has found that cooking at home is one of the best ways to improve health along with saving both time and money.
