Slicing Apples with Lemon Water

Apples begin to turn brown once the meat is exposed to the air. Before slicing place a bowl of water big enough to hold the amount of apples you are slicing. For 2 cups of water, use 2 TBS fresh lemon juice. Cut apples in half. Cut each half in half again and cut out core. Slice each quarter the thickness desired. Place in the bowl of lemon water as you slice. Once done slicing and ready for use strain through colander.
