Spinach Pate - BH

You can use either tofu or cottage cheese to make this healthy pate.

Ingredients:

Spinach 1 bag 1 table spoon whole wheat flour salt and pepper to taste cottage cheese 5-7 tsp

Directions:

  1. Boil the spinach in very little water.
  2. Run it in the blender let it be a little coarse.
  3. Add the whole wheat flour and salt and pepper to it.
  4. Once the consistency is suitable to roll it out into a flat ball, place a small amount of cottage cheese in the center of the ball and cover it with spinach.
  5. Place these balls in a greased microwave safe tray. Put it in the microwave for 2-3 mins depending on the micreowave power.Turn oround once and run once again for 2-3 mins.
Spinach pate is ready. Servewith whole wheat pita pockets or whole wheat tortilla bread with corriander chutney, lettuce and fresh cut tomatoes. Makes great snadwiches for office.
