Q Can you please tell how many ounces of fruit does a active person need to eat on a 2000 calorie diet ?

An active person following a 2,000 calorie diet should eat at least 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables daily (preferably 2-3 servings of fruit and 3-6 servings of vegetables), the higher end for greater disease prevention.

One serving of fruit is equivalent to one medium piece of fruit or one cup of cubed fruit. The serving recommendations are not typically given as a weight (in ounces or grams) since the weight of a food will vary depending on its water content and size. The best way to measure is to estimate each serving based on the above guideline.
