The World's Healthiest Water Drinking Tips

How many times have you been told to make sure you get 8 cups of water each day? How many days have you actually finished 8 cups? High-quality water is definitely a cornerstone of nutrition, and about 60% of our total body weight. Here are some easy-to-follow tips for getting in your day’s water:
  • Focus on water consumption between meals, not during. Excess water drinking can lower stomach acidity and impair digestion. In addition, however, large volumes of water at mealtime can make you feel too full and decrease your appetite for meal foods.
  • Maximize water drinking at times of excessive water loss. For example, if you perspire after yard work or exercise, that’s a perfect time to follow your thirst and increase your water intake.
  • Bring filtered or bottled water with you whenever you will have to sit for prolonged periods of time. These times may include work, movies, car trips or commutes to and from work, bus rides, or just TV watching. Sip continuously during these times.
  • Cold water is usually absorbed more quickly from the stomach. You may be able to increase your cold water consumption more easily than your room temperature water consumption for this reason.
  • Add some fresh organic lemon or lime to your water.
  • think of water as a nutritional necessity - the same as vitamin C, or calcium, or protein. It’s equally essential!
