By the beginning of February we will highlight on our home page a guide to 3-Easy Steps to the Healthiest Way of Eating: what to eat, how to prepare it, and an easy-to-follow menu. We have reviewed thousands of scientific papers to support the information we present on the website. If you want to find out more detail about these references you can soon visit our New Reference Page, which compiles all of the references cited on the website over the years. As in 2009, we will continue to provide you with our Weekly Newsletter, which is delivered each Monday and tells you where you can find our new information for that week. From Tuesday through Sunday you will receive our Healthy Tips and Recipes. If you are having difficulty deciding what to cook for the week, you'll get inspiration from these daily emails and the great tasting recipes-that can be prepared in a matter of minutes-that they feature. We received many supportive letters about the17-page letter we wrote to President Obama suggesting to him how we could cut our healthcare costs in half over the next five years by teaching people how to eat healthier. We received a personal response from him thanking us for our suggestions and informing us of what he is currently doing along these lines of prevention.

Over 10 million visitors of the WHFoods.org website received tips and recipes to help with their Healthiest Way of Eating goals.

After receiving the Best Book Award for our World's Healthiest Foods book in 2007, in 2009 we received the Josef Strossmeyer Award for the Best Science Book of 2009; this is Croatia's equivalent to the Nobel Prize!

Our first e-book, 300 Secrets, was a great success. Hundreds of readers have benefited from those difficult to find answers to questions that our Readers have sent in over the years. It is like having your personal nutritionist in your own home.

In closing we want to share with you one of the most touching e-mails we received in 2009 from Mitch in Canada: Dear Mr. Mateljan,

I have been doing my own research on health and nutrition for almost a year now and I received a copy of your book for Christmas last year. I was very impressed with the wealth of information you provided and your book has become my new bible. Because of you and the research I have done to date, my life has changed tremendously. I am 49 years old and have done a complete change in my lifestyle and I am amazed at the difference it has made in my life.
