Using Sea Vegetables

From Connie:

Possibly the simplest way to start using sea vegetables is to incorporate them into a familiar dish.

When I make grain dishes, including brown rice and mixed-grain pilaf, I add a big handful of any kind of sea vegetable when I add the liquid.

If the sea vegetable you have is in large pieces, just cut it up easily with scissors. And there's no need to rehydrate, since it will be in the liquid with the grains. I've tried several different sea vegetables this way, and I like them all.
